Our Policies at Murphy's Mates

• New clients must complete a registration form and book a Meet and Greet (which is free) before services begin. This is so you can meet us and we can meet you and your pet(s).
• Bookings are confirmed only after you have accepted them.

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance of the appointment are free.
• Cancellations made with less notice may be charged in full or partially.
• Non-attendances are charged in full.

• Payment are due in advance. If agreed, they can be after the service.
• Accepted payment methods are PayPal, cash, or bank transfer.
• Late payments may incur additional charges.

• Pets must be up-to-date with vaccinations (if required by you).
• Owners must disclose their pets medical conditions, behavioural issues, or history of aggression (if any of these apply).
• We reserve the right to refuse services if a pet poses a safety risk.

• If a pet becomes ill or injured while in out care, we will seek veterinary treatment if the owner cannot be reached.
• The owner is responsible for any veterinary costs.

• Keys will be stored securely.
• Keys are kept separate from any address details.
• Lost keys will be reported to the owner immediately.

• Walks may be shortened, rescheduled or adapted during extreme and unsafe weather conditions for your pet's welfare and safety.

• We will seek owners consent before posting photos of your pet on social media.

• Whilst every care is taken to look after your pet and belongings we will not be held responsible for events that are beyond our control.
• Owners are fully responsible for any damages or injury caused by their pet due to non-disclosed bevavioural issues.

When providing pet sitting and home visits the following will apply:

• Owners must provide safe access to the property.
• We will ensure that all doors and windows are secured before leaving (except when there is an agreement with the owner to say otherwise - such as leaving a small window open for the pet)
